"Tite Primer #500" is a modified epoxy resin primer for repainting steel structures that can be applied to a wide variety of deteriorated paint films.
The need to repaint aging coatings with heavy anti-corrosion paint specifications, such as high weather-resistant coatings, to reduce lifecycle costs is a social issue in the maintenance of steel structures. The required performance includes various factors such as corrosion resistance, weather resistance, a wide range of compatible materials, and reduced processes and labor. "Tight Primer" has been on the market for over 40 years and can be applied to a wide variety of deteriorated coatings. It can also be top-coated with both strong and weak solvents as a primer of modified epoxy resin paint. It has been widely adopted in the field of repainting plant and infrastructure steel structures, architectural steel structures, general iron parts, and metal roofs of factories and houses. Currently, based on our experience and customer needs, we have expanded our range of compatible materials and introduced the reduced process and labor thick film type "Tight Primer #500." We will continue to respond to these needs along with various reduced process top-coating products made from high weather-resistant resins.
